I liked this book a lot. It was exciting when Lidie rode the horse. I would recomend this book if you like horses.

I love Wild Girl! It is so interesting. I learned alot of new stuff about Brizillian people. I am wondering what will happen to Lidie's horse Calazo when she moves to New York. If I had to move away to a different country that was far away from my house I probably would get a new one.

I would recomend Wild Girl to any, especially people who have immigrated to another country, had horses for races, or ran away from school and never wanted to go back. I loved this amazing book because it shows how Patricia made the main charecter change throughout the book. It shows that by Lidie running away from school at the begining of the book and liking it at the end. Also if you like horse races there are some. One is Lidie's brother, Rafael is having his first race. The race just began and the horses were off. Just one foot in front of the finish line and the winner is... read Wild Girl to find out the rest.
