  1. This was an interesting book. I never knew that immigrants had to take a test to get into the US. I liked how every chapter started with an interveiw question. Very neat idea!

If you like books about immigration, this book will be perfect for you. Yep Gim Lew lives in China with his family. He uses his left hand to write but, in China you must use your right hand because it is the "correct" hand. Yep Gim Lew must leave his home in China and immigrate to America. To do that he must pass the immigration test. To see what happens you should read this book. I really enjoyed this book because it was iteresting and I enjoy books about things that happened in the past. I would highly recommend this book.
